Cindy's prior professional experience, including over four years of work with probate and estate planning attorneys and completion of the California Society of CPAs' Estate Planning Certificate Program, provides a strong background for her contribution to the firm's success. She joined the firm in 1990, and became a partner in January 2000.
Cindy specializes in trusts and estates, and is well versed in personal tax issues. She is responsible for the preparation and review of all gift and estate tax returns, court accountings for estates and trusts, and fiduciary income tax returns for the firm.
Cindy is currently serving on and as past chair for the California Society of CPAs statewide Estate Planning Committee and has served on the committee since its inception. She has also served on the planning committees for the California CPA Education Foundation's Trust and Estate Conference, the Advanced Estate planning Institute and served on the board of the Society's local chapter for several years. Cindy is a Board member and Treasurer of S.M.O.O.T.H. (Santa Maria Organization of Transportation Helpers, Inc.), a member of the Finance Committee of the Central Coast Commission for Senior Citizens and is an active member and co-chairman of the Community Services Committee of the Kiwanis Club of Santa Maria.
