Carolyn began her accounting career in public accounting in 1986 as an
auditor for a regional accounting firm based in Redlands, CA. Her
previous experience includes auditing, tax and computerized accounting
application experience. She joined the firm in January of 1999 and
became a partner in January 2006.
Carolyn specializes in tax return preparation, tax planning and tax
research. She oversees the preparation, planning, and research for tax
returns for individuals, general partnerships, limited partnerships,
LLC's, S corporations and C corporations. She has expertise in various
tax planning stages for businesses including entity selection, entity
formation, reorganizations, redemptions, and liquidations. She also
specializes in tax planning for various complex real estate
transactions including IRC Section 1031 exchanges.
Carolyn has been involved with the local chapter of the California
Society of CPAs for the past seven years and is an active member of the
Santa Maria Toastmasters Club.
